Following in her father’s and brother’s footsteps, “Kismet” had a brilliant show career, evidenced by multiple specialty BOS and BOB wins. A late bloomer, Kismet got better with each year; a fact not lost on the judges who awarded her important wins from the veteran classes. As a result, Kismet managed to capture the Afghan of the Year crown in 1992 at the advanced age of 10 years! Kismet was a perennial top contender among the bitches in the Afghan of the Year competition during the years 1989-1992.

Kismet was owned by Anita Venhola and handled primarily by Martti Venhola.
