“Micke” was exported to Sweden when he was five months old and very quickly established himself as one of the top contenders in his new homeland. Ever the showman with lots of personality both at home and in the rings, Micke amassed more than 50 Best of Breed wins. During his show career, Micke won three all-breed Best in Shows and 10 specialty Best in Shows. Showing career longevity similar to that of his father Wild West, Micke ranked among the top ten males in the competition for Afghan of the Year in Sweden during an amazing six years.

Micke sired four litters, two of which were born at the Gold’n Copper kennel and one each at kennels Showstyle and Merrygaite. Unfortunately, most of the puppies were never shown.

Micke was owned, loved and exclusively handled by Lena and Gunnar Johansson (breeders of Gold’n Copper afghans) in Sweden.
