1986 Another
stellar year despite freak accident. Be
A Pepper secures his International championship title, follows his
sisters footsteps by winning the breed at the Skokloster specialty
and even beats his father for the title at the Nordic Winner show.
Wild West gets another Finnish Winner title and makes it to five shows
before breaking his front leg in a freak accident in June. Despite
only recovering in time to attend one more show, he still manages
to secure the Afghan of the Year and Sighthound
of the Year titles. His son Be A Pepper is again second and
his daughter Ch. Sonates Soul Sister is the highest placing bitch.

Star Chaser is bred to Int. Ch. Rahzmundah
Psidium and produces a stellar litter with five champions, including
future champions Choice Souvenir and Choice Sun Chaser.
1987 Wild
West bids farewell to the shows. Ch. Choice Cream Dream is
bred to Int. Ch. El Khyrias Never Say Never Again; the resulting
litter includes future star Choice Daddy Be Cool who gets to stay
home. Wild West sires his last litter with Int. Ch. Coastwind Celesta.
Be A Pepper wins the afghan specialty at Skokloster. Wild West,
now 9 years old, adds countless wins to his record, including his
19th BIS, and wins the Afghan of the Year competition
for an incredible sixth time. His son Be A Pepper is third this
year and Ch. Choice Sun Chaser is the top-ranked bitch.

1988 Be
A Pepper takes over. With his father
retired from official shows, Be A Pepper attempts to make his own
mark and succeeds in winning the Sighthound of the Year
competition, while missing the Afghan of the Year title
by one measly point. Wild West is shown for the last time at an invitational
event. Fittingly, the judge who awarded him his first BIS win gives
him the Veteran of Veterans title. Star Chaser has her
second litter, this time sired by Be A Pepper, producing four future
champions including Choice Pretty In Pink and Choice Putting On Fire.
